Thanks for the great fishing charter! Got some great pics and just being out on the water was fun. I was expecting to get into the redfish and snook a little more, but I understand the weather is not controllable and only fishing a day and half limits your chances of success. Regardless, the experience was great! Eating our fresh catch of trout and redfish was a nice way to end the day (you should mention that deal with local restaurants 'Crabby Bills' on your website). If we vacation again in the area, we will definitely be repeat customers and will definitely want to commit a full day to Tarpon and another full day to Snook and/or Redfish (looks like we should a stayed around a few more days)! Thanks again and send on our appreciation to Justin as well.

While in the Gulf of Mexico off Clearwater, Florida, USA, Capt. Craig Lahr, of nearby Largo, Florida, took an opportunity to do some fly fishing using a hand tied fly on 3 kg (6 lb) tippet, to land a king mackerel, (Scomberomorus cavalla). After fighting the fish for 25 minutes Lahr weighed it in at 11.34 kg (25 lb 0 oz). it was approved by the IGFA committee, the king caught on October 22,has beat the current IGFA record of 24 lb 0 oz (10.88 kg), recorded on February 5, 1997.
