Weather is heating up, and fishing is getting even hotter. With the influx of bait that has recently shown up like scaled sardines, shed and threadfin herring, fishing is definitely on the upswing. Snook season is open. Spanish Mackerel are showing up in good numbers .some Kingfish have made their way into the nearshore wrecks and hard bottom area’s , as well as a few Cobia. The backwaters have finally gotten back to normal. Redfish, Snook and Trout are feeding on the white bait and small grass grunts aka pigfish.
