Capt. Craig grew up on Indian Rocks Beach, fishing side by side with local old-timers on the pier until Hurricane Elena took it out in 1985. That’s where it started… learning tides, watching fish patterns, figuring things out the real way. He later worked offshore as a commercial mate, but kept coming back to what makes a fishing charter in Clearwater Florida special… the shallow grass flats, backwater estuaries, and the precision of light tackle and fly fishing around Clearwater. Today, those backwaters are like a second home. It’s not just spots on a map… it’s years of time on the water, knowing when fish move and why. Skinny Water Charters and Capt. Craig hold International Game Fish Association (IGFA) world records, and he’s IGFA Certified. If you’re looking for a real Clearwater fishing charter experience, this is skinny-water fishing the way it’s supposed to be… simple, dialed in, and built on experience.
